The team behind Microsoft Flight Simulator has delayed the flight of the Top Gun: Maverick expansion to coincide with the movie’s 2022 release. Flight Simulator has enjoyed considerable success since its release on Steam and Windows 10 PC in August last year: enough to fly the game to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Game Pass in late July of 2021. That success has also resulted in DLC content bringing new add-ons, planes, airports and so on, from Asobo Studios and dedicated modders alike.
